 | Dr. Matthew Dolan President Matthew is a general dentist who works in Madison at Howell Dentistry and in Charleston at Dolan Family Dentistry. Matthew is a 2013 graduate of Scott High School and attended West Virginia University to obtain his undergraduate degree with a B.S. in biology. Matthew went on to graduate from West Virginia University's School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Matthew loves spending time with family and friends including his dogs Ellie, Ghany, Jerry, and Penny. Other hobbies include playing basketball, camping, working on his house, and traveling. Matthew currently lives in the Madison area with his wife Dr. Samantha Dolan. He looks forward to serving the people of Boone County in both his career and time outside of the dental profession. |
 | Ronald Grant Vice-President Ron is a lifelong resident of Boone County, a graduate of Van High School, and Southern West Virginia Community College. He retired from the coal industry in 2008 after 36 years. Ron currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Central WV; Committee for Boone Backpack Buddies; Boone County Developmental Authority Board; and Boone County Homeland Security. Ron is also a member of Rev Up Madison and is Boone County's Lead Community Volunteer for the American Red Cross. Ron resides in Bob White with his wife Danna. |

 | Sheila Combs Treasurer Sheila is a graduate of Sherman High School and West Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She operated her own nursery business for 20 years before retiring in 2015. She has served on the Advisory Council for Catholic Charities of West Virginia and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Regional Family Resource Network. Sheila is the founder and President of the Upper Big Branch Mining Memorial Group, who raised funds for and constructed the UBB Memorial Plaza in Whitesville, WV. The UBB Group continues to conduct various projects to help our local community. Sheila resides in Orgas. |
 | Connie Hendricks Board Member Like most of our directors, Connie is a lifelong resident of Boone County. She earned a BS in Business from the University of Charleston and an MS in Management from Marshall University. Connie retired from Elk Run Company after 30 years and has served as a Council Member for the Town of Whitesville |
 | Angela Price Board Member Angela McGill Price was born in Homestead, PA (five miles outside of Pittsburgh) in 1956. Her father, Warren McGill, was a steel mill worker at US Steel. Her mother, Aurelia McGill, was a nurse's aid at West Penn Hospital. After graduating from Peabody High School in 1974, she pursed a BS in Elementary Education (science) from the University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation in 1978, she secured a teaching position in Boone County Schools. Angela taught a variety of courses in grades 3-6 throughout her 36 year tenure and she enjoyed every minute of it. But all good things must come to an end so in 2015, she retired. These days you can find Angela devoting her time to her husband, Randall, visiting her adult children and grandchildren in various cities and participating in community and church activities throughout Boone, Logan, and Kanawha Counties. |
 | Chip Shaffer Board Member Chip, a founding member of the Boone County Community Foundation, is a life-long resident of Boone County, and a graduate of Scott High School. He attended WVU and graduated with a law degree in 1981 and has since been a member at Shaffer and Shaffer, Attorneys at Law. Chip has previously served in the following organizations: WVU College of Law Visiting Committee, Governor’s Commission of School District Governance and Administration; Boone County Bank (Board of Directors, Audit Committee Chair); WVU Alumni Association (Board of Directors, Past President); WVU Athletic Council; WVU Steering Committee (NCAA Self Study and Certification); WVU Presidential Search Committee; Central WV Chapter of the American Red Cross (Board of Directors): Alderson Broaddus College Board of Trustees (Secretary, Vice Chair Presidential Search Committee). He is presently involved with the Defense Research Institute; WV Board of Law Examiners; Boone County Building Commission; WV Bar Association; WV State Bar Association; Boone County Bar Association (Past President); Forth Circuit Court of Appeals Judicial Conference; Charleston Area Alliance (Board of Directors); Charleston Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors, Secretary); Capital Area Development Corporation (Board of Directors); West Virginia Land and Mineral Owners Association; WV Bar Foundation; Premier Bank (Board of Directors); Boone County WVU Alumni and Friends (Past President and Charter Member); and the Madison Rotary Club (Past President). Chip also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Boy Scouts of America, Buckskin Council, and is a past Representative of the Buckskin Council to the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Scoutmaster for Troop 289 and has earned the Silver Beaver Award, Vigil Honor-Order of the Arrow, Doctor of Commissioner Science, District Award of Merit, the James West Fellow and is the Wood Badge Course Director. Chip is an active member of the Madison Baptist Church where he serves on the Board of Deacons, Board of Finance, Board of Trustees and teaches a class for Sunday School. |

 | Connie Phillips Staff A long-term resident of Boone County, Connie has worked as the Managing Director since 2012. Connie earned an Associate Degree in Business from Southern WV Community and Technical College. Before coming to the Foundation, she worked as a Legal Assistant. She is an active member of the community, assisting groups such as Boone County 4-H, Appalachian Community Theatre, and S.T.A.G.E. She is also a member of H.S.T.A. Local Governing Board and the WVU Extension Service Committee. |
